So good to be back

Good to be back Into Thin Air once more after thirty-month absence.

Why the absence? I just lost the plot about updating my service provider fees!

Then a year ago I got a cancer diagnosis – thankfully at an early stage. With some brilliant support from Plymouth Peninsula Derriford Hospital Trust, here I am a year later cancer free now. Once again, I owe the NHS, and the wonderful individuals who work for it, a huge vote of thanks.

Am looking forward to sharing occasional thoughts about life in general and some events in particular.

It was an unexpected honour to be granted the Freedom of the City of Plymouth in January of this year.

As we approach the final days of the referendum on whether Plymouth should have a Directly Elected Mayor it seems appropriate that perhaps my first substantive blog should be about that….
